It’s a sad statement that Australian skate companies often don’t last for terribly long but unfortunately a true one. In recent years though many have hung in there and there seems to be somewhat a reversal of the trend. Picture wheels must be clocking up a reasonable number of years under their belt now, and the fact that they often put out sick little web clips has got to have helped their cause. This clip of Newcastle ripper Jono Power is another good one. Incidentally, Jono also rides for Amnesia skateboards, another company that has been around for more than a while now. Although it is hard to find Amnesia product outside NSW, they still get wood under the feet of veteran rulers such as Darren Kaehne and sponsor under-rated rippers such as Ian Gray, so make sure you check out their proddy next time you spy it on a shop wall.
